Pininca is my personal website, where I share fishing knowledge built up over three generations in my family and sell fishing guide ebooks that I write myself. Payment information is processed entirely through PayPal. My system never stores your card number or bank account details.

When you sign up for the newsletter, I keep the email address you provide so I can send updates about new articles, fishing tips, or news related to the ebooks.

If you send a message through the contact form or reach out by email directly, I keep a record of that exchange so I can answer your question and follow up if needed.

Like most websites, pininca.com also automatically records some basic technical data: browser type, device used, pages viewed, and time of visit. This data helps me understand which content is actually useful to readers. It isn't used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Personal Information

Every piece of information I collect serves a specific purpose. Nothing gets gathered and left sitting around, and nothing gets sold to a third party.

The email and name you provide when purchasing an ebook are used to send the exact book you ordered to the right address, confirm your order, and help you out if you run into trouble downloading the file. If an email address was entered incorrectly or a file didn't arrive, I need this information to fix the problem quickly.

For newsletter subscribers, I use your email to send new articles from the fishing knowledge section, along with updates related to the ebooks or content on Pininca's YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram channels. You can unsubscribe at any time. The unsubscribe link sits at the bottom of every email.

Website traffic data (browser type, most-viewed pages) helps me see which articles are genuinely helping readers, so I can focus on writing more of what actually works instead of guessing.

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third party for advertising purposes.

Data Retention and Security

Your personal information is stored on a system protected by 256-bit SSL encryption during checkout, the same security standard used by reputable e-commerce platforms.

I only keep your email and purchase history for as long as it's needed to support you. For example, in case you need to re-download an ebook you already bought, or if an issue comes up with your order. Newsletter emails are kept until you choose to unsubscribe.

No system on the internet is perfectly secure, and I won't promise something I can't fully control. What I can commit to is applying reasonable security measures and not storing sensitive information I don't actually need. That's the simplest way to keep your risk as low as possible.

Payments made through PayPal are handled under PayPal's own privacy policy and international standards, regardless of which country you're paying from.
