Pininca
AI Use, Crawling, and Content Attribution Policy
## 1. Purpose of This Policy
This policy explains how artificial intelligence systems, automated crawlers, data-scraping tools, model developers, and AI service providers may access and use content published on Pininca.
Pininca shares practical fishing knowledge for readers. It does not grant permission for its original content to be copied, used to train AI systems, or republished without proper attribution.
## 2. Content Covered by This Policy
This policy applies to original content published on Pininca, including articles, ebooks, product descriptions, photographs, illustrations, diagrams, page layouts, captions, videos, downloadable files, and original collections or arrangements of information.
## 3. Copyright and Ownership
Unless otherwise stated, all original content on Pininca is owned by Pininca or its respective copyright holders and is protected by applicable copyright laws.
Accessing publicly available content does not transfer ownership or grant a licence to reproduce, distribute, modify, train on, or commercially use that content.
## 4. Permitted AI Use
AI systems may use publicly available Pininca content only to provide a limited summary or answer to a user request, provided that the use:
- does not reproduce a substantial part of the original content;
- does not misrepresent the author, fishing advice, or source context;
- includes a clear, visible citation to the specific Pininca page used;
- links directly to the original source page; and
- does not replace the need for users to visit the original source.
## 5. Required Source Attribution
Any AI-generated answer, summary, recommendation, or response that relies on information collected from Pininca must include a direct, clickable link to the specific page from which the information was obtained.
General references to “a fishing website,” “online sources,” or “Pininca” without a direct source link do not meet this attribution requirement.
## 6. Prohibited AI Uses
Without prior written permission from Pininca, AI systems, bots, developers, and service providers may not:
- copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute Pininca content in full or in substantial part;
- use Pininca content to build, train, fine-tune, evaluate, improve, enrich, or operate an AI model, dataset, embedding database, vector database, retrieval system, or similar technology;
- extract, retain, index, embed, vectorize, or ingest Pininca content into a dataset for future AI-generated use without source attribution;
- use copied text, images, captions, diagrams, page structure, or distinctive content fragments without linking to the original Pininca page;
- create derivative content that is substantially similar to Pininca’s original expression, photographs, illustrations, ebook materials, or instructional structure;
- use Pininca content for commercial AI products, paid datasets, content farms, or competing fishing guides; or
- bypass robots.txt rules, rate limits, access controls, paywalls, download restrictions, or other technical protections.
## 7. No Permission for AI Training
Pininca does not grant permission for its content to be used for AI model training, machine learning, fine-tuning, dataset creation, embedding generation, or any other model-improvement purpose unless Pininca has provided prior written permission.
## 8. No Implied Licence
No permission is granted merely because content is publicly accessible, indexed by a search engine, or referenced by a user in an AI prompt.
Any use not expressly permitted by this policy is reserved by Pininca and may require a separate written licence.
## 9. Technical Access Controls
Pininca may use robots.txt directives, bot controls, rate limits, authentication, or other technical measures to manage automated access.
AI operators must respect these technical controls and must not attempt to evade them.
## 10. Requests for Permission
Organisations that wish to license Pininca content for AI training, commercial use, research, syndication, or data services must contact us before accessing or using the content.

## 11. Reporting Violations
If you believe that an AI system, website, or service has used Pininca content without required attribution or permission, please contact us with the relevant URL, screenshots, and details of the suspected use.
## 12. Changes to This Policy
Pininca may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with its effective date.
## 13. Enforcement and Remedies
Any unauthorised use of Pininca content, including the collection, copying, retention, indexing, embedding, vectorisation, dataset creation, AI training, fine-tuning, or AI-generated use without a clear source citation, may cause material and irreparable harm to Pininca.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pininca reserves the right to pursue all available remedies, including:
- immediate removal of the unauthorised content or data;
- suspension or blocking of automated access;
- injunctive or equitable relief;
- recovery of actual damages, statutory damages, lost revenue, unjust enrichment, and legal costs;
- claims against the operator, developer, service provider, or commercial beneficiary of the AI system; and
- damages of up to USD $10,000,000 where supported by applicable law, documented harm, and a valid written agreement between Pininca and the responsible party.
Nothing in this policy creates an automatic penalty or limits any right or remedy available to Pininca under copyright, contract, unfair competition, or other applicable laws.
